tuned in;
2 days went by. pretty fast i must say. had my first ambassador duty yesterday and thank god i didn`t screw up at all. well. maybe being an I personality, i`m most suitable to be a promoter. making me speak to students is fine, but preferably not parents or people of higher authority. it`ll make me scared. of what i`m not too sure either. *shrugs*
so i reached school at around 915 with ni. we each had half a egg mayo sandwich and we proceeded to corps comm. met junsheng and jon and we had a briefing by ida before setting off to the convention centre. when we got there, the buzan mindmapping course competition was already half way through. we were gonna outreach to those secondary school students during the half an hour break they were given. well. it wasn`t that difficult to speak to them since they were just like us. and yeah. it was pretty fun. like i`ve said, maybe i can only speak to secondary school students. no one else. who knows.
after that ni and i left for the workshop and we set up the classroom ready for the kent ridge students. since there was nothing much to do, both of us went back to the convention centre to find jieling and ron during the second shift. we helped out a little before helping them to pack up. we filled up the attendance sheet and all that before heading back to receive the students coming for the workshop. we waited for quite a while before they came and we led them to their rooms. we had to stand through out the entire workshop and i`m telling you. it`s damn tiring. lol. it`s been a long time since i`ve been made to stand the whole afternoon since i left oriental. haha. but anyway, it was good experience to being a student facilitator. oh wells. luckily we met with a bunch of rather well-behaved bunch(although there were some who were more hpyer than the rest. o_O.) if not we`ll have been so dead. lol.
spent today at home in the afternoon watching vcds before heading out in the late afternoon for em1 meeting. met up with ron and jon(no pun intended) before heading to cine foodcourt for our meeting. bryan, angeline, junsheng, renee and joel was already there. and we were already early lah. lol. and it seems like the rest reached rather early. yeah. so we proceeded on with our meeting. overall the meeting was rather productive, if we minus the confusion we had at the beginning of the discussion about the open house. yeah. so we are given the task to run the open house and aim to impact. can`t reveal too much either. we also got to know the members of em1 better although several seniors such as jane, lorraine and adrian couldn`t make it for the meeting. but i guess the meeting wasn`t so bad. yup.
k lah. shall not bore you guys with all these details. will be back soon i suppose. will only be meeting gg and perhaps aaron and affair tomorrow. (:
