parting occasions.
vera left last night. not many manged to turn up to send her off, prolly because of the awkward timing. if it weren`t for rhonda`s dad, i would not have been able to go and send her off as well.
parting occasions seem to happen alot lately. first was ame, adel and the 2 andrew(s). vera just left this morning. sarah and livia would be leaving for australia in febuary and chiasin would be leaving for taiwan. why is everyone leaving? is singapore that bad? i would love to go overseas for holidays, but i`m not sure if i`ll like to study and be away from my loved ones. maybe it`s what you call naive, but oh well. i never really imagined myself studying overseas without my friends and family. `cause i don`t like facing new environments alone and having to make new friends all over again. maybe you say this is letting a good chance slip away, but that`s just good old me. =b
so i was talking a little bit to vera`s parents and i was shocked that her mum knew my name. when i saw ivane and charmaine burst into tears last night and they had to watch her enter quietly, it reminded me of that time that ame and adel had to leave. but alright. i don`t really want to get started about that. her mum gave me a hug last night after vera went in. her eyes were red and i almost teared abit when she gave me that tight but reassuring hug.
but anyway, i wish vera best and i`m looking forward to seeing her again soon, in another 7 months time. i`m sure she`ll still very much be her when she return. (:
